Police wives have faith that our husbands will return to us at the end of the day.  It may be faith in God’s protection, faith that our husbands will make the right decision, faith in the Department and the training it provides…or all of the above.  For many of us, one of the only reasons we are still together with our husbands is because we have looked to God for direction, and found comfort and strength through having a relationship with Him.  We believe that God cares about all the details of our lives and wants us to bring our concerns to Him.  Through our prayer, He is able to pour out His power in our lives – not that everything will necessarily get better immediately, but that He can comfort us through it all.
